Information, Resources and Referrals

As a centre we are happy to assist with what we can, however we are aware that we do not do everything. Therefore, we are able to make referrals to other agencies, or provide information on other organisations that may be a better fit. We also have Local Resource Listings available that include information, emergency services, family support/programs, and education resources. 

Legal Resources

Provided on appointment-basis, our legal resource clerk offers both individuals and groups advice concerning legal matters. This includes assistance with filling out forms, wills, estates, family law, income tax returns, land titles, and she is also a Commissioner of Oath.

Family Support Counselling

Our family support counsellor provides one-on-one or couple sessions for those in need of someone to speak to. If you feel stressed, in crisis, or just need to talk about life's daily anxieties, someone is here for you. These are by appointment, although some walk-ins may be possible (Wednesdays only.)

Winter Coats for Children and Families

This program allows individuals who are in need of a warm winter coat, toque, or mittens, to receive them, free of charge. Come on in before or during the winter months to receive clothing so your family can stay toasty!

Christmas Toy Hampers

Our Christmas Toy Hamper program wishes to provide every family and child in need in the Crowsnest Pass area with a toy sack from Santa, filled with new, age-appropriate gifts for Christmas morning. Applications are open through the month of December.
